A cue ends one sample and starts the next. Three cues give you four samples, and every cue is one you placed yourself.

NAAD Pro
A year of Pro on up to three of your computers. We email you before the year ends, and renewing keeps the same key.
Payments are processed by Chutak Binak, our parent business. That name appears at checkout and on your card statement.
- Pay with Razorpay. Debit or credit card, from anywhere.
- Get your key. It appears on screen as soon as the payment clears, and we email a copy.
- Paste it into NAAD. Click the badge at the top of the panel, paste the key under "already bought?" and press Activate.
Questions
Is the free version really free?
Yes. Recording, cueing, slicing, playing and sequencing are never limited. You can save or export three times; after that, saving needs Pro.
Do I need an account?
No. Signing in with Google is optional.
Why is NAAD not in an extension store?
NAAD installs straight from this site using your browser’s developer mode. The install guide, which has a one-minute video, takes about two minutes.
Which browsers work?
Desktop Chrome, Brave, Edge, Arc and other browsers built on Chromium. NAAD does not work in Safari or Firefox, or on phones.
Can I sample anything I hear?
NAAD records whatever audio your tab plays, and you are responsible for having the right to record and use it. Sampling music you do not own can infringe copyright. Use your own recordings, royalty-free libraries, or material you have permission to use.
What happens to my audio?
It stays on your computer. NAAD never uploads your recordings or samples.
What happens after a year?
We email you two weeks before your year ends with a link to renew. Renewing adds another year to the same key, so there is nothing to re-enter. If you do not renew, NAAD goes back to the free version and your sessions stay where they are. You can renew here at any time, even early; the extra year is added on top.
